The Challenge

Akly operated a single restaurant through which they sold on demand dishes and subscription plans via a mobile app. The existing technology stack did not scale hurting their brand and business continuity. They approached us to help them build a robust platform and create and implement the technical and product strategy to transform them into a dynamic marketplace and leader in healthy food delivery.

The Solution

We worked with the founder and executive team to re-imagine the product. This included user research, competitive analysis, design sprints and user interface design. We then architected and built the platform from scratch which consisted of: backend, native consumer and driver applications and web apps for restaurant partners and the operations team. This enabled the successful launch and scaling of the marketplace in Qatar.
